All volunteers must complete the volunteer application and participate in an orientation/training session annually beginning on July 1st.  All volunteer training expires on June 30th. Currently, masks are optional in all BCPS schools and offices, regardless of vaccination status. We continue to monitor current metrics as well as recommendations from the CDC, Baltimore County Health Department and the Office of Health Services.

Volunteer Training

The Baltimore County School System requires that all volunteers must complete the volunteer application and participate in an online orientation/training session once every year.

The BCPS Application for Volunteer Services and Training sessions and are now available online!

Step 1: Complete the Volunteer Application

Step 2:  Print and Submit both the application and the valid training certificate to the school in which you intend to volunteer.  Both documents must be submitted at the same time to be accepted and reviewed by the school staff.
